LAURA DEYELL

Founding Partner

Laura Deyell is a Member at Large of the Canadian Commonwealth Games Association and graduated with a B.A in Political Science and International Relations from the Bishop’s University in the Province of Quebec. For over 12 years Laura has been working and managing multi-sport events primarily working to provide clients with a memorable sporting experience.

Specializing in client service, protocol, VIP Services and Games operations, Laura connects the dots in a complex environment working with the very best around the globe in the industry.

Laura is here to exceed client expectations by providing the ultimate client experience combined with any theme ranging from international sporting events to corporate occasions. Laura loves to travel and experience new cultures and cuisine by visiting as many countries as possible, bringing culture and diversity to any event.

CHIP SCHUG

Founding Partner

For over 25 years, international sport management has been Chip’s passion. After graduating from Ball State University, Chip quickly joined the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Organizing Committee to launch his career planning and managing mega and grass root events.

Steeped in experience, Chip prides himself in taking an ethical and professional approach to event operations and support services, negotiating contracts, and consulting, regardless of an event’s size. Chip has planned and delivered over 20 international events and understands what it takes to create bespoke plans that meet any budget as well as finding efficiencies to help streamline event delivery.

Chip’s skills and knowledge will guide you towards an exciting opportunity with the goal to achieve a turnkey event solution for your organization.

SCOTT PASS

Project Lead

Scott has been involved in planning, managing, and budgeting transport operations since 1999 and is no stranger to special events. Scott was heavily involved in procuring and planning bus operations for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games. Additionally, Scott was instrumental in delivering the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games bus operations.

Scott’s passion, organization and boardroom acumen is a pillar that Events Group International is proud to count on as a part of our foundation.

ANDI BARNABA

Project Analyst

Andi began her major event experience working with Chip Schug, Scott Pass and Laura Deyell at the Toronto 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Games. Since that time Andi has continued her involvement with other major events, and is currently working with the Canada Soccer Association as their Women’s National EXCEL Program Manager.

Andi brings an abundance of energy to the team and a good working knowledge of football and teams’ transport expectations.
